I have this blog to document my infertility adventures from the past four years.
I laugh, I cry, I vent.
In the end, this is cheap therapy.

Germs...

I have been battling a mutant chest/sinus cold for about a week. I will say that I am DEFINITELY tired of being sick. I'm over it, and am looking forward to the time that I feel better and can stop coughing.

My Doctor's appointment is today, so I had every intention of going to bed and getting a good night's sleep before having to be there. That all changed when Casey came home with a 103.5 degree fever. I wouldn't be so paranoid for anyone else, but his regular healthy body temperature is just below 96 degrees...so 103 is a big deal. I was up most of the night with him, alternating motrin and tylenol every 4 hours, wiping him down, changing out cold compresses, trying to get his temp down. His fever FINALLY broke in the middle of the night. I need to change the sheets (man, I didn't realize that people sweat so much when their fevers break! I don't remember sweating, and I get fevers...) I'll do all that when I get back from Dr. E's office. I have a sneaky suspicion that I'll be there for a smidge.

AND, Casey's going to work today, too. That boy wouldn't miss work, even if he was on his death bed. It's a gift...and a curse.

I need to get dressed and get ready to go. Wish me luck! We're aiming for the "no, you're not broken and no, you're not crazy" diagnoses today. ;-)
