Lately, I feel almost useless. All I do is eat, sleep, and go to work. Thankfully, I have a very, VERY understanding husband that has allowed me to slack off...but I'm not sure how long that's going to last.
I found out that if I eat very frequently (like, almost constantly), I don't get as nauseated or as dizzy as when I just eat three meals. Of course, that has the side effect of making me bigger than a house. I'm trying to eat as healthy as I can, since I have to eat so much. I've been eating raw carrots and sugar snap peas all day. The Minion didn't agree with the sliced green bell pepper that I had...he made his disapproval known. I don't have any actual "morning sickness"...I'm just dizzy most of the time and get waves of nausea....but I'm not actually vomiting or anything. I'm not sure that the nausea is it's own issue...I'm almost convinced that I'm nauseated because I'm so dizzy. I already have low blood pressure...so adding a baby to the mix that is borrowing some of my blood supply probably isn't the best thing for keeping my blood pressure where it needs to be.
I sleep ALL THE TIME. I take naps every day, because if I don't I fall asleep sitting up. I fell asleep on my inlaw's couch when I was over there for a little visit (before we went to go to the house for the inspection.) and my father in law made the comment "You're not going to be one of those pregnant woman that complains she's tired all the time, are you? It can't be that tiring to be pregnant." This is coming from a man who has NEVER been around a pregnant woman. EVER. *sigh* Some people just suck. Even if I'm related to them.

Keep the veggies up!! Try a red bell pepper, VERY yummy.
As far as the tiredness is concerned... IT TAKES A LOT OF ENERGY GROWING A PERSON AND PLACENTA!
It will get a little better second trimester. You won't be AS tired... but still tired.
You know if you make it my way, I'll keep you stocked with healthy snacks. =]
Try some iron for the dizziness. only 3 meals a day? - what were you thinking?! My problem is I never stopped the constant eating after the kid was born. =]
My coworkers laughed at me for bringing and entire loaf of bread with me to work with jars of peanut butter and jelly. I just didn't know HOW hungry I would be throughout the day. When I was pregnant with twins, I had to get up to eat TWICE during every single night. Talk about bigger than a house!
