I have this blog to document my infertility adventures from the past four years.
I laugh, I cry, I vent.
In the end, this is cheap therapy.

Keeping the Crazies at bay...

There really isn't a gray area with anything that I do. I am either totally-and-completely-obsessed, or not interested. Since infertility research was just asking for an opening for the Crazies to run around in my head, I decided that I needed a new obsession.

I started researching Casey's skin condition, ichthyosis vulgaris...but there's really only so much you can find out about that stuff, and very few treatments that actually work for long periods of time. Did you know that there's a 50% chance that our children will have it, since it's autosomal dominant? Which brings me back to the whole children thing...

I got my bloodwork done on Monday. I'm not going to get the results until my next doctor's appointment, which is in November. So...at this point, I'm trying to find a new obsession. Ichthyosis didn't hold my attention for long enough to keep the Crazies completely at bay...

My life isn't interesting enough for that obsession to be blogging. :) If I had a life that had lots of exciting things going on, I could write about it. Alas, I'm quite the boring chickie.

I'll probably just go back to reading books. :) When I have time.
